Carpaccio of Venison with beetroot type salad, horseradish mayonnaise and plenty of rocket leaves topped with shaved parmesan. Brilliant.
Partner had pan fried pigeon breast on top of black pudding with chorizo and mixed salad. She couldn't handle the rare meat (blood when you pressed). I had to eat it. Chorizo was rock hard.
Chicken wrapped in prosciutto ( a bit dry), wild mushroom & tarragon mousse, blue cheese sauce (really nice); Sea Bass fillet on crab & crayfish risotto. Brilliant.
Carrots, green beans, sugar snap peas, potatoes.
One amaretto coffee not quite made right, one espresso very good.
I thought it a very good meal; she thought a medium quality meal saved by very good presentation. £65 for two including 3 glasses of wine.
